To carry out the activity of road transporter, you must carry out ONLINE on the website of the
Regional Directorate for the Environment, Planning and Housing (DREAL)
an application for registration in the national register of road transporters.

- The operating permit is issued by the Prefect of the region in which the company's headquarters are located when the company meets the conditions
access to the profession.
REGISTRATION REQUEST PROCEDURE
- I gather the documents to justify compliance with the conditions of access to the profession depending on the situation of my business.

- I respond to any requests for additional documents from the DREAL.
- After delivery of
- the certificate of conformity issued by the DREAL
- when my file is complete and complies with transport regulations,
- I register my company with the RCS

- After registering my company with the RCS and sending my Kbis, I send it online to the DREAL.
- I receive the authorization to practice and the transport tickets at the company headquarters issued by the DREAL.
- I keep the operating permit and transport license at the company headquarters (or in dedicated premises) and place a copy in each vehicle assigned to public transport.
From that moment on, I can only work as a public road transport operator.
